The resulting green house gas emissions (GHG) impact Earth\u2019s systems and human health and wellbeing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently bioenergy contributes approximately 10% of the world\u2019s primary energy supply. Bioethanol and biodiesel provide about 3% of the world\u2019s transportation fuels, but biofuels could provide up to 30 % by 2050 with projected improvements in technology.
