June 10-14, 2015 – ISES
The 2015 International Student Summit (ISES), Bali, Indonesia: “Connecting the Unconnected” brought 610 students (undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate levels) from 100 countries to Bali to discuss with energy leaders and those in many other fields. How the students, as change agents, could lead the transition to a global sustainable energy future was the charge. Opened by the Vice President of Indonesia and closed by the Minister of Energy and Minerals, the event served to inspire the students and help them decide their future careers. Helena Chum spoke in the Panel 2nd Generation Bioenergy, highlighted the SCOPE as the latest assessment. The talk was extremely well received by the participants, organizers, and bioenergy leaders.
